The Floyd Effect - genuinely performing the music of Pink Floyd
The Floyd Effect - eight top quality musicians and singers who faithfully recreate the music and emotions of a Pink Floyd concert without recourse to backing tracks, computers or other technological wizardry. Every note that you hear is played and sung by the band, making each concert a genuine 'live' musical experience, all of which is ably supported by a dramatic light show that incorporates the iconic circular screen, two sets of projectors, smoke and lasers.
"Where possible, The Floyd Effect works with local theatre groups to recreate performances from Alan Parker's seminal movie version of The Wall. For this performance the band is delighted to welcome the kids and teachers from Ipswich Stagecoach Theatre School.
So let The Floyd Effect take you on a true musical journey from the Dark Side Of The Moon, through Wish You Were Here and Animals, to The Wall, and all the way to the Division Bell. Unless you were there the first time round, the music of Pink Floyd was never as real as this.
